LeBron James is winning big with ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy,’ the No. 1 movie at the box office. As fans compare the movie to the original ‘Space Jam’ starring Michael Jordan, the fact that the sequel was even made 25 years later is further proof that LeBron is the Jordan of his generation.
A kids movie was never going to settle the never-ending GOAT debate between LeBron and MJ, and this film shamelessly doubles as a commercial for Warner Brothers’ intellectual properties from Looney Tunes and DC Comics to Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. But without the star power of LeBron, a ‘Space Jam’ sequel never could have happened.
